The Custodians of India's Living Heritage
Artisans are not merely suppliers.
They are custodians of knowledge — carrying within their hands and memories generations of accumulated wisdom about materials, techniques, design, symbolism, environment, culture and community.
We will strive to ensure that the artisan does not become invisible behind the product. The maker should have a story, a name, a face and a place in the narrative.
Our Network
Divya India emerges from more than 12 years of building relationships with weavers and artisans across India — through our parent platform Luxurionworld, which represents approximately 52 Indian art forms and maintains relationships with more than 1,000 weavers nationwide.
That foundation of trust, authenticity and artisan relationships is the bedrock upon which Divya India is built.
Our Commitment to Artisans
Our ambition is not merely to increase the number of products sold. It is to contribute to:
- Better market access and sustainable demand
- Fairer economic opportunities
- Recognition of craftsmanship
- Preservation of traditional skills
- Opportunities for younger generations
- Greater participation of women
- Long-term economic viability of traditional occupations
Artisan Documentation
Every artisan we partner with is documented — their craft, their community, their story and the impact of our partnership on their livelihood. This documentation becomes part of the Divya India Impact Register — our permanent institutional record of the change we create together.
Artisan profiles are being added. Each one is a story worth knowing.
