Community outcomes are the changes that matter to the people and practitioners with whom we work.
Depending on the initiative, these may include:
- Greater recognition of practitioners and traditions
- Improved documentation and access to community knowledge
- Support for teaching and transmission
- New opportunities for collaboration
- Greater public understanding
- Support for livelihoods or community-led priorities
Outcomes should be defined with communities rather than assumed on their behalf.
